eCPR, Emotional CPR, is a public health educational program designed to teach people to assist others through an emotional crisis through three simple processes: Connecting, emPowering, and Revitalizing.
- The Connecting process involves deepening listening skills including listening with our eyes, ears and heart to open up communication, feel the other person’s presence and createa sense of safety for the person experiencing a crisis.
- The emPowering process involves supporting people to feel their passion, purpose and power and to accept the uncertainty of not knowing what is best, and to open up to collaborative exploration.
- In the Revitalizing process we explore our vital center – our truth and our genuine voice & our authentic self which leads to a renewed sense of meaning, purpose and belonging.
