I’ve been an avid reader since I learned to read as a small child. I love all styles of writing from poetry to long-form novels, fiction and non-fiction, graphic novels, and text-only stories.

I love especially those forms that blur technical lines. Short stories blur the line between long-form prose stories and the typically short-form poetry.

Short stories in particular are really helpful for relaxing. They usually don’t take long to finish, so it’s not as much of a commitment to read one. You can read then in between tasks or while waiting for an appointment or on your ride home. It feels like reading a full novel in the span of a chapter.
