MacKenzie has been working in the mental health field since 2006, providing support to a variety of populations in her private practice and through her work with Horizon Services, Crisis Support Services of Alameda County, and Bay Area Community Services. MacKenzie has participated in ongoing mental health care for depression since childhood and is committed to supporting others through their own challenges. MacKenzie has a BA in Politics from Scripps College and an MA in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a member of adjunct faculty at the Wright Institute.
