Maileen (she/hers/siya) is the AA&PI Program Coordinator at PEERS for the Everyone Counts Campaign (ECC). In this position, she manages the Stigma Reduction Committee, Wellness Groups, and community outreach events for Alameda County’s Asian American and Pacific Islander population. Maileen is a recent college graduate from San Jose State University where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health. Her previous work experiences in college include the SJSU Solidarity Network, Braven, and Asian Pacific American Leadership Institute (APALI). Maileen’s lived experiences with mental health and passion for social justice drew her to PEERS.
Outside of work, Maileen enjoys listening to podcasts and artists from all over the world on Spotify. She also enjoys reading, sleeping, and exploring cities in the SF Bay Area.
