Matt Wood is an impact professional with 8+ years of experience consulting non-profits and educational institutions to help them realize long-term strategic goals through development initiatives and digital transformation.

He is extremely passionate about eliminating the stigma around mental health as a result of witnessing family & other loved ones struggle to access resources to support their mental health. PEERS’ diverse community and its innovative peer-based wellness strategies made Matt truly connect to the organization. He is excited to share his fundraising & strategy experience to scale PEERS’ impact.

Matt has a BA in Economics from Gustavus Adolphus College, an MBA from Georgetown University, and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Nicaragua. He lives in Oakland with his partner Emily and loves to spend time outside, particularly around water, to enable his own mental health.
