PEERS is a proud partner of the “No Stigma No Barriers” project.

Along with Youth in Mind, California Youth Connection, and Young Minds Advocacy, PEERS has been a part of the project since September 2017. This collaborative project aims to improve mental health outcomes and reduce stigma for Transition Age Youth (TAY). Please visit for more information.

There are approximately 5,500,000 transition age youth (TAY), 16 – 25, in California. Many of them face significant mental health challenges or have prior mental health experiences. Please join us to #EndTheStigma.

PEERS’ Transition Age Youth Program provides TAY Leadership Mentees with mentoring, guidance, and the tools they need to transition to the next stage of their lives. As part of the program, mentees develop and deliver educational wellness workshops to other community organizations and stakeholders. Contact for more information about our TAY program.
