    Today PEERS’ Associate Director Lynn Rivas spoke at the POCC “50-Year History of the Mental Health Consumer Movement” event in Oakland. Attendees also celebrated the birthday of renowned movement organizer Jay Mahler. Lynn spoke about the history of PEERS as a consumer-run organization before screening an interview that PEERS/BestNow! Intern Steve Hayes’ conducted with Jay  Mahler.
