This application is now open for the June training. Please contact for information about future eCPR trainings.

You are invited to apply for a 2-Day eCPR Training on Thursday and Friday, June 7th & 8th (2018) from 9am to 5:00pm. Emotional CPR (eCPR) is a hope-based approach to building strong, resilient, cooperative communities. This training will prepare you to participate fully in your community and to provide support to others – friends, family, or people you haven’t met – who may be experiencing an emotional crisis.

eCPR, Emotional CPR, is a public health educational program designed to teach people to assist others through an emotional crisis through three simple processes: Connecting, emPowering, and Revitalizing.

  • The Connecting process involves deepening listening skills including listening with our eyes, ears and heart to open up communication, feel the other person’s presence and create a sense of safety for the person experiencing a crisis.
  • The emPowering process involves supporting people to feel their passion, purpose and power and to accept the uncertainty of not knowing what is best, and to open up to collaborative exploration.
  • In the Revitalizing process we explore our truth, our genuine voice and our authentic self which leads to a renewed sense of meaning, purpose and belonging.

Location: 8105 Edgewater Dr Suite 100, Oakland, CA 94621
